ECHO returns March 26 - 28th 2021 with an unmissable program of authentic Tasmanian cultural and culinary experiences you just can't
get anywhere else in the world.

Bring your crew, set up camp and indulge in locally harvested produce cooked by award-winning chefs or sip your way through the regions
(gin *tick* wine *tick* whiskey *tick*) and kick your heels up as we celebrate the beginning of a new year, and season.

We're so ready to shake off 2020 and return to the lush East Coast for an unforgettable weekend of celebration, connection and immersion of the senses. We've been dreaming big and cannot wait to host you (and your friends) in a moment.

As friends and subscribers of ECHO, we'll keep you up to date first with the announcement of the program, and our ticket releases in the new year. We urge you to encourage your friends to also sign up, so they don't get left off the list (and experience major FOMO).

Put it in your calendars, start the group thread and dust off your finest festive attire –– you do not want to miss out on what we have in store for ECHO 2021.
Program released early January 2021 xx

It’s with blurry eyes and a shaky lip that I announce the cancellation of ECHO Festival 2020.

At less than three weeks out I feel the social responsibility regarding the health of everyone.

I would like to thank all of the incredible people involved – Events Tasmania, Tourism Tasmania, the Artists, Chefs, Presenters, Sponsors, Volunteers and Guests for their understanding in this difficult decision.

We now will look forwards to the 2021 event over 26-28th March and know that we will come back stronger and as enthusiastic as ever - bigger and better.

Please everyone, take care and take care of one another in these crazy times.

Hopefully as a united world we will learn some good lessons from this global situation and we will soon be able to catch up with some amazing stories to share – stories that make us laugh, cry and roar – stories of bravery, compassion and triumph!

With love,

Ange & ECHO Festival xx

It’s with sadness that we digest the news from the Dark Mofo 2020 cancellation – our hearts go out to the incredible team who work so hard to make it happen. We do, however, understand this tough decision.

Whilst there is talk of filling the gap with new ideas, please know that ECHO is going ahead! It is a small, fun and independent event - please support us here in Tasmania and we hope to see you on the East Coast on Friday 3rd of April x
